Vintage metal sign, ENJOY CUSTER A Champion Lignite (coal), embossed picturing General Custer, in excellent++ condition. Rare sign, guaranteed to be an original. Few scuffs/spots mostly around the edges. Overall great color and shine displays great. History taped to the back - The 700 acre Custer Lignite Mine was located near Garrison North Dakota and was in operation from 1947 until 1964. Size is 13 5/8" x 19 1/4". Pictures show the front and back and a close up of the sign company mark. NOTE: I recently acquired a large collection of over 200 vintage original advertising signs, clocks and thermometers which I will be selling off over the next year or two.
